FAQ
Questions from interior designers
Can my client compare options before choosing?
Yes. Add option photos to an item your client has not chosen yet. They see them on their link and tap I like it or I want a change. They can add a photo of an idea they like, too.
Can I give my contractor only the approved finishes?
Yes. Contractor sheet in the Specs tab makes a print or PDF of only the finishes your client approved, with their codes.
What if a fitted item is not right?
Mark it Not OK and say what is wrong. Your client can also tap Not right on their link and add a photo. It stays Not OK until you tap Fixed.
Does my client see the vendor and price of an item?
Your client sees what you enter: the vendor, quantity and unit price show on their link when you fill them in. Only the name is needed, so leave out anything you would rather not show.

More for interior designers
Client approval for interior designers
Blueprint gives interior designers one place to propose finishes and get them approved. Add a tile, laminate, paint or piece of hardware with a photo, the code, the vendor, the quantity and the unit price. Only the name is needed to start. Your client opens one link in any browser and taps I like it, or asks for a change with a note.
- Add option photos while your client is choosing. Your client can add a photo of something they like too.
- Editing a finish your client already answered sends it back for a fresh approval, so the record always matches what was agreed.
- Group the list by room or by category.
- More on specs and items.
Your client never installs anything. Their link leads with your studio's name and logo and shows each finish waiting for their choice. With a stage plan, it also shows which step you are on and what is needed from them. When they answer, the bell tells you, and in the phone apps your phone pings too.
From chosen to fitted and checked
Place a finish in a stage of the plan and it becomes an item you can track: chosen, ordered, delivered, fitted and checked. Anyone on the team can move it along, and your client follows each step on their link.
- At fitted, mark it OK, or Not OK with what is wrong. Your client can tap Looks good or Not right and add a photo.
- Once an item is ordered it is replaced with a reason rather than edited, so the history stays clear.
- The contractor sheet is a print or PDF of only the finishes your client approved, with their codes.
Rooms, drawings and changes of mind
- Plan the project room by room from the Apartment template, or start blank and add your own areas, like a study or a garden.
- Share layouts and renders for approval. Your client can pin a note on the exact spot or draw on the drawing with a finger.
- When your client changes their mind after approving, write it up as extra work with its cost and days, and get it approved before the work starts.
- Log snags with a photo and mark them fixed with an after photo, so nothing is forgotten at handover.
- The client link starts on the Pro plan. See pricing for the rest.
